The 50 Most Stylish People in America, 2021 Edition
In a strange year marked by on-again, off-again red carpet
events and public gatherings, these superstars, socialites, and
artists didn't shy away from bold style statements

In a year when many parts of the world remained shuttered, the
American entertainment and fashion
industries fought to emerge from pandemic lockdown: scheduling,
postponing, canceling, and rescheduling once-in-a-lifetime
premieres and the annual events that have become cultural
touchstones in our collective psyche—slowly nudging us towards to a
sense of normalcy in the wake of more than a year of disquiet and
darkness.
As we look back on the style icons and tastemakers of 2021, it’s
clear this year belongs to the risk-takers: the fashion chameleons
and the futurists who are forging forward, pushing boundaries, and
embracing authenticity and self-expression. Here—presented in
alphabetical order by first name—are the artists, stars, and
entrepreneurs who inspired us with their style in 2021.
