We’ve all been keeping a very close eye on Cardi B over Paris Fashion Week. Her first look to make it on to Instagram, a Mugler ensemble with bejeweled eyebrows, definitely set the tone for the maximalism to come. Over the past weekend, while there were no bejeweled brows, Cardi still managed to amaze with her fashion in bold colors and more than interesting sillouhettes.

Now, green can be a hard color to pull off in fashion, but when done right, it’s done so right. On Sunday, photographers captured Cardi wearing a, say it with me, bright green catsuit with swishy, blousy pants and a green bonnet included. A bonnet, in 2021, who would’ve thought it could look so good?

The cat suit, designed by London-based fashion designer Richard Quinn, covered Cardi from head to toe in green, including sleeves that turned into gloves. The internet had a fun time with this outfit, innocently joking that Cardi was channeling Kermit the Frog or a character from the Teletubbies. But that can be chic too.

But Cardi didn’t stop with the green jumpsuit. On the same day, while attending the Kate Moss High Jewelry Fashion Show, Cardi broke out a purple ensemble that gave us all sorts of 60’s mod fantasy. The rapper had sky-high beehive hair that resembled something out of Hairspray, and we haven’t even gotten to the outfit yet.

Keeping with a theme, Cardi wore yet another catsuit, but instead of being green this time, it was a beautiful shade of lilac complete with fringe detailing. She matched the jumpsuit with a pair of purple sunglasses to match and an opulent diamond and silver necklace with provided an additional layer of glam to the already intricate outfit.

I think it is safe to say, with all the evidence, that Cardi B is the fashion hero of this year’s Paris Fashion Week.
