During Paris Fashion Week, spotting the It girls in the front row is just as exciting as seeing the high-fashion designs come down the runway thanks to the variety of eye-catching looks they wear. Over the weekend, big-name stars like Emily Ratajkowski, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, and Doja Cat all were front and center at the buzziest shows of the season (Balenciaga, Valentino, Givenchy) wearing looks you don’t want to miss.
Balenciaga
After Balenciaga tapped celebs to walk the runway during its Fall 2022 couture show over the summer (including Nicole Kidman, Dua Lipa, Naomi Campbell, and Kim Kardashian), we knew something big was in store this year. Creative director Demna opened his Spring/Summer 2023 show with none other than Kanye West walking through the mud-filled venue.
The faces taking it all in from the front row were just as major. There was Kylie Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, Grammy-winner Doja Cat, Charli XCX, Barbie Ferreira, Academy Award-winning actor Daniel Kaluuya, Rickey Thompson, Offset, and supermodel Naomi Campbell. Emily Ratajkowski was also in attendance, stepping out in something on-theme (but still unexpected with its comfy, laid-back design) in a chic tracksuit courtesy of Balenciaga’s collaboration with adidas.
Balenciaga campaign star, Euphoria‘s Alexa Demie attended the presentation in a red-hot shimming turtleneck floor-length gown. Later in the evening, Demie attended the Balenciaga afterparty in another red look, wearing a crimson fur-lined trench, red “pantaboots,” while carrying her Balenciaga Le Cagole handbag and sporting futuristic shades.
Valentino
At Valentino, Hollywood heavyweights to VIP friends of the brand were on-hand to see creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection. As an ambassador for the Italian house, Zendaya arrived wearing a monogrammed glittering sheer catsuit under a pair of monogrammed shorts, and a matching blazer and logo-riddled PVC pumps. The two-time Emmy winning actress added to the drama with shoulder-length chandelier earrings.
Zendaya was joined by her Dune: Part Two co-star, Don’t Worry Darling actress Florence Pugh, who sported a baby pink Valentino minidress, paired with a white cape and matching Valentino Garavani Tan-go patent leather platform pumps.
Riverdale’s Madelaine Petsch was in attendance, as well as Wednesday actress Jenna Ortega. There was also Christine Quinn, Emily in Paris star Ashley Park, Dove Cameron, Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley and Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham. Longtime legends Naomi Campbell and Erykah Badu rounded out the front row.
Givenchy
More notable names made their way to Givenchy’s Spring-Summer 2023 show including Halsey, Kanye West, Paris Jackson, the Peltz Beckhams, Hari Nef, Jasmine Tookes, Georgia May Jagger, Olivia Rodrigo, and Maisie Williams.
