Like season’s past, Victoria Beckham had her number one fans in the front row at her Paris Fashion Week show. Her husband David Beckham was on-hand along with her daughter Harper Seven, 11, and sons Brooklyn, 23, Romeo, 20, and Cruz, 17. Also sitting with the family was Brooklyn’s wife (and GRAZIA USA Fall 2022 cover star) Nicola Peltz Beckham, 27.

The designer shared a snap of her supporters in the front row on Instagram writing that she was “so grateful for my family for always supporting me on this journey.” She also posted photos taking her bow at the end of the show with the caption, “Overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude 💕thank you Paris 🙏🏼I love you x.”

This was the first time Victoria Beckham showed in Paris, after initially starting her Fashion Week presentations in New York before moving them to London. She previously told WWD that it’s always been “her dream” to show in the City of Lights.

The collection featured unbuttoned oversize blazers paired with bralettes or worn sans shirt, knit dresses with tassel fringe details, slinky slip dresses and sheer ruffled numbers to name a few looks.

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham re-posted Victoria’s front row photo with the caption, “Congrats mum on a great show.” While Nicola shared it on her Instagram Stories writing, “Congratulations @victoriabeckham on a beautiful show.”

Victoria’s husband of 23 years wrote on his Instagram Stories, “16 years of hard work and we know how much today means to you. We are so proud.” The former Spice Girl also shared a clip of Harper Seven standing with Cruz and Romeo giving her a good luck message before the show. “Hi mummy, congratulations, I hope you have the best day,” Harper said in the clip.

Nicola opened up about marrying into a famous family in GRAZIA USA‘s recent cover story calling them “great in-laws.” She also addressed the rumors that circulated after she wore a Valentino Haute Couture gown on her wedding day.

“Well, I was planning on wearing Victoria’s wedding dress,” Nicola told GRAZIA USA to set the record straight, “and I was truly so excited to be able to wear a design that my future mother-in-law created. I thought that was so beautiful and such a beautiful story.”

Nicola’s close friend, the stylist Leslie Fremar, and mother, Claudia, were helping design the gown. “I thought, ‘Oh, this is going to be so fun. One of my best friends and my mom.’ We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by and I didn’t hear anything. Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn’t make it. So, I spoke to my mom and Leslie, and I was like, ‘Well, unfortunately, this can’t happen, so what’s the next step?’ I’ve been a fan of Valentino and their couture for so long. I was really lucky to be able to travel to [the atelier] to try on the dress. That’s really what happened.”

She continued, “When I read things that say [things like] I was never planning on wearing a [Victoria Beckham] dress or things like that, it does hurt my feelings. I try not to let it, but it’s just not the truth. It’s just a bit of a bummer when you’re like, ‘Oh, people think that,’ but it’s just not true.”

Nicola tries to tune out any negativity online and credits her support system for keeping her grounded. “It’s a shame when there’s not more love, especially on the internet,” Nicola said. “I don’t understand the whole hating on other people’s Instagrams, but to each their own, I guess. I think it’s really about surrounding yourself with really good people. I feel really lucky to have a good support system.”
