There are plenty of very good places to stay in Paris. During Fashion Week, Cheval Blanc Paris is the address you want.

For one week, the city is running at full tilt: shows run late, dinner reservations run later and a car that was supposedly two minutes away has somehow disappeared around the Place de la Concorde. At Cheval Blanc, meanwhile, there are 72 rooms and suites overlooking the Seine, the Dior Spa Cheval Blanc Paris downstairs and someone who already knows what you need.

The hotel sits in the First Arrondissement, inside La Samaritaine, which reopened in 2021 after a major renovation overseen by architect Peter Marino. Cheval Blanc occupies the Seine-facing side of the building, putting you within relatively easy reach of much of Fashion Week. Then you walk through the doors and, mercifully, Paris suddenly feels much farther away.

The fashion connection is built in. Cheval Blanc is part of LVMH, and the Dior Spa Cheval Blanc Paris starts looking particularly appealing somewhere around day three of Fashion Week. Its six treatment suites each have their own Dior identity, and there’s also a 30-meter pool if you happen to have found room for a swimsuit alongside the six pairs of shoes you absolutely needed to bring.

Most of the rooms and suites face the Seine, with views that can take in Notre-Dame and the Eiffel Tower. There are butlers, excellent room service and the particular pleasure of rarely having to ask for anything twice. Is any of this essential to surviving Fashion Week? Obviously not. Does it make the whole thing a lot more enjoyable? Absolutely.

Then there’s the food, which means you can have an excellent dinner without getting back into a car. Plénitude, chef Arnaud Donckele’s three-Michelin-starred restaurant, is downstairs when a proper dinner is in order. Up on the seventh floor, Michelin-starred Le Tout-Paris is the rooftop brasserie for breakfast, a late lunch or drinks with views stretching from Notre-Dame to the Eiffel Tower. Next door is Langosteria, the Milan-born Italian restaurant built around seafood and the sort of long lunch that can very easily turn into something else entirely.

And Langosteria isn’t staying in Paris. The restaurant is also headed to Cheval Blanc St-Barth, bringing its Italian seafood menu to the Caribbean — worth filing away for the moment Fashion Week ends and everyone starts thinking about St. Barth.

Cheval Blanc Paris also heads into Fashion Week with some fairly major new bragging rights: it was just named No. 20 on The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2026 list. Not that anyone needed another reason to check in.

For some guests, the Cheval Blanc experience starts before they get anywhere near the lobby. Flexjet counts the hotel among its partners, with special experiences available to its aircraft owners. Those flying privately into Paris can come through Le Bourget rather than Charles de Gaulle for the premiere Flexjet treatment before heading into the city and checking into Cheval Blanc. During Fashion Week, when the schedule changes by the hour and everything takes longer than it should, having at least one part of the trip feel easy is no small thing.

Paris has no shortage of grand hotels, and Fashion Week certainly has no shortage of places to see and be seen. What Cheval Blanc gets right is feeling very much part of the week without making the hotel itself feel like another thing you have to attend.

And after a day of shows, fittings, traffic, dinners and whatever happened after dinner, that may be the biggest luxury of all.
