On the 17th of August 2022, the royal family of Jordan announced the engagement of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein to Ms. Rajwa Al-Saif. Ahead of their wedding, which is set to take place on the 1st of June 2023, Prince Hussein revealed how he and his fiancé first met.
In honour of Rajwa Al-Saif’s birthday on the 28th of April, Prince Hussein took to Instagram to wish her a happy birthday and shared his excitement for the life ahead of them. “Wishing my dearest Rajwa a very happy birthday! Looking forward to a life of love, compassion and commitment with you,” he captioned a photo of her with a horse.
Shortly after, local media outlets including Roya News announced that the Crown Prince had revealed how the couple first met through a mutual acquaintance. “I met my fiancée, Rajwa, through a classmate,” he admitted during the Tawasol forum organised by the Crown Prince Foundation.

The forum was held in Jordan to discuss the advancements of artificial intelligence and saw the young Crown Prince take the stage, with his future wife accompanying him and observing from the audience. The Prime Minister of Jordan was also in attendance, and reportedly witness Prince Hussein announce he and his Rajwa’s joyful commitment.

Rajwa wore a chic bright pink suit, which Instagram account @royalfashionpolice claimed to be from high street label Zara.
