There’s excitement brewing amongst the members of the Jordanian royal family as Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa are expecting their first child.

Following the announcement of the joyous news last month, the princess, who celebrated her 30th birthday over the weekend, has been spotted for the first time in public with a growing baby bump.

The royal mum-to-be seems to be well in preparation mode to welcome her first child, as she was seen out in Amman leaving a store that sells home décor, including baby items. The video circulating online has left royal watchers even more excited about how far along she is.

When is Princess Rajwa due?

The impending arrival of Crown Prince Hussein’s and Princess Rajwa’s first child was officially announced by the Hashemite Court in a statement last month. The royal family also confirmed an approximate time when the princess was due to give birth.

“The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein are expecting their first baby this summer,” the statement read.

The announcement disclosed that Princess Rajwa’s due date falls sometime this summer, however a specific date hasn’t been confirmed.

Marking a joyous and significant moment for the Kingdom’s legacy, the royal baby will be the first grandchild of Jordan’s King Abdullah and Queen Rania.
