Earlier this week, Jordan’s Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah and his Saudi fiancé, Rajwa Al Saif, have made their first public appearance together ever since news broke out of their engagement in August 2022. For their first outing as the future King and Queen of Jordan, the royal couple took a crash course on Jordan’s rich history and heritage, courtesy of Prince Hussein’s great uncle, Prince Hassan bin Talal.

The Crown Prince took to Instagram to share, “There is no one more knowledgeable than my great uncle El Hassan when it comes to Jordan’s history and our Hashemite legacy. Rajwa and I had the pleasure of viewing exhibits from Jordan’s Hashemite history at the Royal Hashemite Court today.”

The couple visited the Royal Hashemite Court, where they toured exhibits and looked at the collections of the founding King Abdullah I, as well as the office of King Hussein. The exhibition shows the history of the royal Hashemite family from their earliest days.

To mark her first official appearance in Jordan, Ms. Rajwa wore an elegant white and crisp buttoned shirt, tucked into a A-line black skirt and belt from Alexander McQueen, and accessorised with a white Gucci GG Marmont bag. The best accessory of all? A gold necklace with her and her future husband’s initials, ‘H’ and ‘R.’

Their engagement, which took place in Ms. Rajwa’s family home in Riyadh, saw His Majesty King Abdullah and Her Majesty Queen Rania attending, as well as other members of the royal family and Miss Rajwa’s family.

We can’t wait to see what future visits and appearances the royal couple has in store for us.
