On Sunday March 13th 2023, Princess Iman of Jordan wed her fiance, Jameel Thermiotis in a royal ceremony which took place in Amman, Jordan. Princess Iman is the eldest daughter of His Majesty King Abdullah and Her Royal Highness Queen Rania, and is the first to be married, ahead of her brother Crown Prince Hussein who is engaged to Ms Rajwa Al Saif from Saudi Arabia set to be married on June 1st 2023.

The bride looked etehreal in a custom Dior gown and tiara from Chaumet, and walked down the aisle accompanied by her brother and the future of King of Jordan. The wedding was live broadcasted across state television and every member of the royal family showed a rare appearance. In the official signing of the documents, known as the katb elktab, the princess and bride sat between her father, His Majesty King Abdullah, as well as her husband, Jameel Thermiotis, as they signed the documents and were named as husband and wife. According to several news outlets, the couple walked under spears carried by Royal Honour Guards, and cut their six-layered cake using an Arab sword.

Several noteworthy guests were in attendance, including Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, as well as Sheikh Issa, son of Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad, as well as other royal family members from Egypt and Kuwait.
