This season, New York Fashion Week has created so many must-see moments, we’re helping you cut through the endless Instagram scrolling and bringing you every can’t-miss celeb sighting, runway walk and more.
NYFW’s Spring-Summer 2023 shows marked the return of the supermodel, with Shalom Harlow at Proenza Schouler and Linda Evangelista at Fendi. Simultaneously, the next generation has begun to make their mark. Kate Moss’ daughter Lila Moss stormed the Fendi and Tommy Hilfiger runways, and Kimora Lee Simmons’ daughter Aoki Lee Simmons graced the catwalks of both Sergio Hudson and Tommy Hilfiger. There have also been many A-list performances at shows and afterparties from Doja Cat, Charli XCX, Travis Barker and more.

Shalom Harlow Walks for Proenza Schouler
’90s supermodel Shalom Harlow kicked off Fashion Week with a bang. Creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez celebrated Proenza Schouler’s 20th anniversary with a star-studded pack of models, including Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner at the Hall Des Lumierès on September 9.
Linda Evangelista Walks for Fendi
Keeping the festivities coming, Fendi celebrated 25 years of its beloved Baguette bag later that evening at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Creative director Kim Jones teamed up with close friend, American designer Marc Jacobs for the momentous occasion.
While Kate Moss’ daughter, Lila Moss opened the Resort 2023 presentation, iconic supermodel Linda Evangelista made a triumphant return to the runway to close the show — her first runway moment since her CoolSculpting trauma. She wore in a blue caped gown with opera gloves and of course, the Fendi Baguette.
Kim Kardashian and Sarah Jessica Parker Sit Front Row at Fendi
A star-studded runway called for an equally starry front row. Quite possibly the Baguette’s biggest fan, Carrie Bradshaw — err, Sarah Jessica Parker — carried a purple ombré style and sat next to Kim Kardashian who carried a crystal-adorned bag. The two friends of the brand were joined in the front row by actress Naomi Watts, Lala Anthony, Winnie Harlow, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘s Rachel Brosnahan.
Sergio Hudson Brings Back ’80s Glamour
For Collection 10, Sergio Hudson brought the bold opulence of the late 1980s and early 1990s to the runway. The designer was reportedly inspired by Prince, evoking an unabashed glamor through the vibrant color-blocking of rich jewel tones against form-fitting and sculptural silhouettes.
Marni Makes its NYFW Debut
Italian luxury fashion house Marni decamped from Milan to make its New York Fashion Week debut this season. Presenting the Spring/Summer 2023 collection, creative director Francesco Risso sent models down the runway inside a tunnel beneath the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO, with a live performance by Dev Hynes and the String Orchestra of Brooklyn.
Doja Cat Performs at Marc Jacobs’ Party
Hot off the heels of her new Heaven by Marc Jacobs campaign, Doja Cat hit the stage at Marc Jacobs’ Party at Bushwick’s Elsewhere along with fellow campaign star, Charli XCX.
Tommy Hilfiger’s Star-Studded Show
Nobody can rain on Tommy Hilfiger‘s parade. In collaboration with British designer Richard Quinn, Hilfiger returned to NYFW, sending looks down the rainy runway evoking a mod academia aesthetic for the Fall 2022 collection. Inspired by Andy Warhol and his N.Y.C. Factory, the preppy styles were punched up with a bit of a subversive edge on models which included Quannah Chasinghorse, Winnie Harlow, Ashley Graham, Aoki Lee Simmons, Lila Moss, Amelia Gray, Precious Lee, with surprise appearances from Hari Nef and Julia Fox at the Skyline Drive-In theater in Brooklyn.
The show also featured a live performance from Travis Barker. His wife Kourtney Kardashian sat front row with her mother Kris Jenner, while Kate Moss watched her daughter grace the runway from the front row as well, alongside Shawn Mendes, Jon Batiste, and Jon Legend.
Karlie Kloss Walks for Carolina Herrera
For Carolina Herrera’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection, designer Wes Gordon sent models down the runway at the Plaza Hotel, in resplendent floral confections, including a special catwalk cameo from supermodel Karlie Kloss.
Alice + Olivia Hosts a Colorful Presentation
Alice + Olivia’s Spring/Summer 2023 presentation showcased various immersive rooms of different aesthetics, all equally vibrant and glamourous. With live music from celebrity DJ Jordan Emanuel, designer Stacey Bendet was joined by actress Katie Holmes, heiress and designer Nicky Hilton Rothschild, influencer Olivia Ponton, and more.
Lisa Rinna Walks for Priscavera
Actress and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna took to the runway for Priscavera’s Spring/Summer 2023 presentation in Brooklyn. Rinna graced the catwalk in a form-fitting long white dress with her hair slicked back, sporting dramatic black winged eyeliner.
Puma Returns to NYFW
Puma designer and creative director June Ambrose kicked off the brand’s first NYFW presentation since its Fenty collaboration in 2017 with an immersive runway show dubbed Futrograde, ahead of Puma’s 75th anniversary. Ambrose told GRAZIA USA, “When I first looked back in the archive, I saw collaborations with Alexander McQueen, Jil Sander, and other amazing high fashion collaborations we were doing in early 2000s. Not many people know us for those, and I want Puma to re-enter that conversation.”
Kravis Displays PDA at the Boohoo Fashion Show
Newlyweds Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker sat front row for the reality star’s collaboration with fast fashion brand Boohoo. The couple brought their signature PDA to NYFW, making out in between looks coming down the runway.
Emily Ratajkowski graced the Tory Burch runway for the designer’s Spring/Summer 2023 presentation in sheer, body-conscious layered pieces. The model, actress, and best-selling author sported a two-toned brown and orange color-blocked maxi skirt with a dark long-sleeve sheer mesh top, revealing her silver see-through lace bralette. Ratajkowski slipped into a pair of cream peep-toe sling-back wedged mules and accessorized the ensemble with a black patent leather waist bag shoulder-scraping hoop earrings featuring long, dangling beads.
Anne, Anna, and Serena Take Michael Kors
In an ensemble particularly evoking her Devil Wears Prada character Andy Sachs, Anne Hathaway sat next to prolific fashion editor Anna Wintour (who the film was based on) along with tennis sensation Serena Williams at the Michael Kors runway show.
