Our Favorite Funny Girl Is Back as ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Returns For Season Four
After pandemic-related postponements, the ever-stylish comedienne Midge Maisel is finally returning to our screens
After more than two years of anticipation, Amazon Studios has gifted us all the forthcoming fourth season of the beloved dramedy The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Our favorite ‘50s style maven Miriam “Midge” Maisel, expertly portrayed by Rachel Brosnahan, returns to our screens on February 18th along with her irrefutably hysterical gang of family and friends.
With season 4 picking up in 1960, changes are ahead for our comedic heroine. Finding a standup gig that will allow her to stretch her legs, Midge’s staunch devotion to her craft takes center stage, creating some awkward situations between her and her loved ones.
The award winning comedy series, courtesy of Amy Sherman-Palladino (of Gilmore Girls acclaim) and Daniel Palladino, filmed all throughout New York City this past March-June, giving us a sneak peek at the supreme costume choices for this season.
With costume designer Donna Zakowska curating an inimitably authentic wardrobe, the fashion is a feast for the eyes. With trapeze coats, pillbox hats, playful prints, and color-blocked accessories, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is unmatched in its bright and bubbly colors, and vintage silhouettes that define the era with unadulterated historical accuracy.
Here, GRAZIA celebrates the upcoming fourth season with a walk through some of the show’s most enticing and marvelous looks to come.
