She got it from her mama. 19-year-old model Lila Grace Moss just joined the Calvin Klein family, starring in the brand’s Fall 2022 campaign.

The daughter of supermodel Kate Moss and Dazed Media co-founder Jefferson Hack, Lila’s new campaign comes 30 years after her mother’s inimitable tenure modeling for the American brand.

The ads dropped on Wednesday, featuring an onslaught of the hottest stars in fashion, music, and film, sporting the brand’s new underwear, loungewear, denim and outerwear pieces. Lila (who is the spitting image of her mother) joins the likes of BlackPink’s Jennie, Chloë Sevigny, Euphoria’s Dominic Fike, Pose’s Mj Rodriguez, Susan Sarandon, Precious Lee, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the campaign (photographed and directed by Alasdair McLellan).

Her mother, who first began modeling for the brand in 1992, posed for legendary photographers like Herb Ritts, Patrick Demarchlier, and Mario Sorrenti in moody black and white campaigns that showed a bit more skin.

One of the brand’s most historic ads featured Moss alongside Mark Wahlberg, then known as “Marky Mark.” Both stripped down to their skivvies in photos shot by Herb Ritts. Moss and Wahlberg went topless in some photos and sported CK jeans in others.

This July, Moss told BBC Radio 4 Desert Island Discs she recalled feeling incredibly vulnerable and scared during the shoot. Despite the career-defining moment, her memories “are not very good.”

Speaking of Wahlberg, Moss told the outlet, “He was very macho, and it was all about him. He had a big entourage. I was just this kind of model.”

“I think they played on my vulnerability,” she continued. “I was quite young and innocent, so Calvin loved that.”
