Brazilian supermodel and activist Gisele Bündchen is continuing her fight to preserve our environment in style. Bündchen hosted the Luz Alliance Fund Miami Gala on Saturday evening with the Brazil Foundation, wearing a Grecian white one-shoulder column dress from eco-friendly fashion designer Stella McCartney. Fittingly, her outfit choice was a rewear, which she originally donned in 2019.

The model accessorized with Jimmy Choo heels and added bling to her look with emerald and diamond drop earrings, styling her sandy blonde tresses in her signature beach waves.

“I used to think how can I make a difference? I am just one person in this enormous world and there is just too much to do, but early on I understood that to amplify change it is essential to join forces and that trough dedication and collaboration everything is possible,” she wrote on Instagram. “From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank everyone who was at the Luz Alliance Gala yesterday, helping us to support nature. Together we were able to raise funds that will be help so many people and projects in Brazil. A special thanks to the amazing @ivetesangalo , @robinrobertsgma , @ingridsilva and @brazilfound. As Desmond Tutu said: ‘Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.’ ❤️🙏✨”

Bündchen posted a carousel to social media, posing and partying with Brazilian singer Ivete Sangalo, Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts, fellow model Karlie Kloss and more.

Bündchen has always been committed to eco-friendly projects and environmental sustainability efforts, including her fundraiser Biomes, which aids in regenerating Brazil’s biodiversity. In late March, the model announced she would co-host the fundraising event on Instagram.

“From planting trees, regenerating springs and depleted soils, and protecting turtles, jaguars … everything impacts nature. The power of nature comes from its diversity, and it depends on it for survival,” she wrote. “Every form of life uniquely creates balance on Earth so all of life can flourish. Like with people, our differences are also our strengths, and we get stronger when we work together. Last year, I started a project called Biomes to help regenerate the biodiversity of Brazil.”

She continued, “From north to south, east to west, we selected seven projects in different regions of the country. Each biome’s species have an important role in nature because everything is connected. Now, together with The Luz Alliance Fund in partnership with @brazilfound on Saturday, May 20th in Miami, we are having a dinner to raise more funds to expand our efforts and have a more significant impact.”

Bündchen founded the Luz Foundation in 2007 with the goal to support educational, environmental and humanitarian causes. It merged with the Brazil Foundation in 2020 to form the Luz Alliance Fund in 2020, addressing emergency causes stemmed from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Brazilian territory, according to People.
