Brazilian supermodel and activist Gisele Bündchen is taking the time to stop and smell the flowers. The star posted a beautiful selfie on Instagram and an inspiring quote about getting through hard times.
“The same storm that knocks down the leaves, also makes the seeds sprout💕,” she wrote. In the photo, she’s a surrounded by greenery and vibrant pink flowers as she buries her face in florals. She wore a simple white tank top and a gold chain necklace, with her long golden waves blowing in the wind.
Staunchly committed to eco-friendly projects and environmental sustainability efforts, the model shared a series of both glam and intimate photos on social media on March 30, to support her fundraiser Biomes, which aids in regenerating Brazil’s biodiversity.
Bündchen also announced that will also be co-hosting the Luz Alliance Fund Miami Gala in May to raise money for the cause. She posted a carousel of scenic images posing and working in nature to get the word out. “From planting trees, regenerating springs and depleted soils, and protecting turtles, jaguars … everything impacts nature. The power of nature comes from its diversity, and it depends on it for survival,” she wrote. “Every form of life uniquely creates balance on Earth so all of life can flourish. Like with people, our differences are also our strengths, and we get stronger when we work together. Last year, I started a project called Biomes to help regenerate the biodiversity of Brazil.”
She continued, “From north to south, east to west, we selected seven projects in different regions of the country. Each biome’s species have an important role in nature because everything is connected. Now, together with The Luz Alliance Fund in partnership with @brazilfound on Saturday, May 20th in Miami, we are having a dinner to raise more funds to expand our efforts and have a more significant impact. 
”
Bündchen founded the Luz Foundation in 2007 with the goal to support educational, environmental and humanitarian causes. It merged with the Brazil Foundation in 2020 to form the Luz Alliance Fund in 2020, addressing emergency causes stemmed from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Brazilian territory, according to People.
Not her first reflective Instagram post in recent months, the model seems to be ushering in a new era. Following her highly publicized split from NFL quarterback Tom Brady last October, Bündchen is getting back to business with her modeling career and has been seen out and about with a new man. Now, she’s sharing some inspirational advice as to how she keeps it all together, even in trying times.
“Being healthy is more than a clean diet and exercise. It’s about our attitudes, emotions, beliefs, thoughts and actions,” she captioned an Instagram photo. “When life gets challenging always remember that the sun rises everyday bringing a new opportunity for us to try again and do better. It can get intense out there and we can get easily distracted by the noise. Awareness is key. What energy you are nurturing?” The model added, “Remember, we are the co-creators of our own reality, what we believe we create!

Thankfully, it appears Bündchen is doing “just fine” following her very public divorce from Brady. A source told PEOPLE that’s in part because she is accustomed to doing things on her own. In other reports from the outlet, a source said Bündchen is “starting over in a good frame of mind” and that she feels “confident, strong and better than she has in a long, long time.”
