According to Deadline, Pugh and Garfield are currently in negotiations to act opposite one another in We Live in Time, set to be directed by The Goldfinch’s John Crowley, written by Nick Payne and developed and produced by StudioCanal with the help of Sunny March. Actor Benedict Cumberbatch will executive produce.

While much of the plot remains under wraps, the film has been described as a “funny” and “deeply moving” love story. Shooting is expected to begin later this year.
