Stopping by The Late Late Show with James Corden alongside Hamilton’s Daveed Diggs, Sydney Sweeney pulled out all the style stops once again, in an elegant ensemble that oozed Old Hollywood glamour.
Styled by Molly Dickson, the actress chose a sleek and chic ivory pencil dress with a graphic black bust from Christian Siriano‘s Pre-Fall 2022 collection. A great week for the American designer, Lady Gaga was also spotted on the late-night circuit in one of Siriano’s glamorous designs.
Sweeney took to Instagram to post a carousel of photos including stage images, behind-the-scenes snapshots, and pics surrounded by her team. She captioned the pics, “ur girls first late night talk show 👏🏼 thank you @j_corden and tune into the @latelateshow tonight.”
During her appearance, she chatted about everything from Euphoria, to Alexa Demie accidentally breaking her toe, and renovating her 1969 Bronco. Corden later commented that between Sweeney and Diggs, the duo may take the cake when it comes to sheer talent.
“I’ve got to say, we have had some very, very gifted and talented people sit on this couch. I would argue this — from a talent perspective — is arguably as high as any talent perspective” said Corden. “Arguably, one of the most talented couches we’ve ever had together at the same time.”
Receiving an outpouring of love from the audience when bringing up her Euphoria character Cassie Howard, Sweeney jokes to Diggs, “I think they might have seen it.”
