Lady Gaga has taken us on dramatic and glamorous sartorial odyssey throughout her esteemed career. Started from the meat dress, now we’re here. As the multi-hyphenate talent is set to receive critical acclaim for her poignant performance in Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci as the vengeful and murderous Patrizia Reggiani, her wardrobe reflects that of an exalted Old Hollywood movie star.

The Oscar and Grammy-winning performer made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night in a statement-making LBD from Christian Siriano’s Pre-Fall 2022 collection with fluttery, voluminous tulle sleeves to amp it up a notch. With the help of her stylists Tom Eerebout and Sandra Amador, Gaga sported the look with a pair of black Giuseppe Zanotti patent leather pumps, and some oversized shades to complete her sumptuous look. Keeping it refined without losing her signature theatrical flair, Gaga’s style choices have exuded a luxe and lavish quality throughout the entirety of her House of Gucci press tour.

Discussing everything from her 2017 Super Bowl halftime show, to the upcoming awards season, House of Gucci, her favorite foods while filming in Italy, and that notorious Italian accent, Gaga revealed the stories behind some of her very first auditions. Telling Kimmel that she actually sought to act before her musical aspirations, Gaga attended a slew of acting schools and classes in her youth. Describing one of her first personally notable rejections- a LensCrafters commercial- Gaga declared, “I learned all about rejection and how to take it like a queen.”
