Lily Collins sported two looks from opposite ends of the style spectrum to celebrate the Max Mara Resort 2024 presentation in Stockholm, Sweden over the weekend.
On Saturday, the Emily in Paris actress attended a welcome dinner for the Italian fashion house on Fjäderholmarnas Krog island, wearing an angelic ensemble that evoked the essence of a Midsommar May Queen.
Collins adorned a white V-neck floor-length slip dress beneath a shimmering crystal-encrusted mesh long-sleeve overlay with white strappy sandals and Cartier jewels. She rocked an auburn beauty moment, courtesy of her Emily in Paris makeup department head Aurélie Payen, and styled her brunette strands in glossy waves thanks to hairstylist Mike Desir, which was topped off with a whimsical flower crown.
Amy Adams, Kiernan Shipka, Kathy Hilton and more were also in attendance. Collins commemorated the evening, sharing an Instagram carousel with the caption, “Last night was a midsummer night’s dream. Thank you @maxmara for a beautiful Stockholm welcome!…”
On Sunday, Collins attended the brand’s Resort 2024 collection in the Blue Hall at Stockholm’s City Hall before heading over to the Gold Hall for a celebratory dinner. At the show, Collins embraced the dark side, opting for a more vampy look to juxtapose her light white fairy moment from the evening before.
Collins’ gothic all-black ensemble featured a sheer turtleneck over a lace bra, teamed with a corset-style high-shine black leather belt buckled around her waist, a sculptural pannier black metallic brocade skirt and black peep-toe sandals.
Collins maintained a pale matte complexion with red eyeshadow and a glossy rouge noir oxblood statement lip. She tied her brunette tresses up in an intricate braided top knot with side bangs.
The star sat next to Lili Reinhart, Demi Moore and Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert during the catwalk and actress shared scenes from the runway show on her Instagram Stories adding notes like, “Midsommar dreams,” “Floral fantasies” and “Floral. Flowing. Functional. Fantastical. Just fabulous.”
