Once again, Kim Kardashian has broken the internet, this time with the help of 28-year-old comedian Pete Davidson. While updates of this incredibly unexpected relationship have rapidly saturated our newsfeeds, no amount of information seems to feel enough. Although rumors began swirling around the pair when Kardashian starred as host to Saturday Night Live in early October, recently surfaced images of the two holding hands have the burgeoning couple on everybody’s lips. Everyone except Machine Gun Kelly, who quite literally kept his mouth shut when asked about his friend’s new reported romance at the American Music Awards last night.
Just this weekend, the two were spotted holding hands again, this time outside of Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, CA where it appeared that Davidson was sporting a hickey on his neck.
During her SNL debut, the beauty mogul teased her famous family, made self-deprecating jokes about her recent divorce from rapper Kanye West, and smooched the “King of Staten Island ” star amid a comedic sketch where the two played Aladdin and Jasmine. Being that Davidson has been a cast member of the legendary variety show since 2014, his SNL co-stars had plenty to say about the high-profile pair.
Fellow cast mates Kenan Thompson, Chris Redd, and Bowen Yang all spoke to People magazine regarding the possible item. Yang told the publication, “I don’t know what the nature of the friendship is, but it seems like they’re having a good time hanging out.” Thompson commented, “I mean, you’ve got to be happy for love, I guess. If it’s love! They look like they’re having a good time,” referring to Davidson as a little brother” and adding, “I’m always happy when he’s happy.” Chris Redd, who portrayed Kanye West during Kardashian’s SNL appearance, told People, “Pete and Kim? Damn, Pete. Damn!…I hope they’re happy. They’re wearing matching outfits so I think they’re on their way. [At least] that’s what Instagram told me.”
When Kardashian and Davidson were photographed holding hands on a roller coaster ride at Knott’s Scary Farm immediately following her SNL episode, people’s minds were blown. Reports of the reality TV queen traveling to Davidson’s home town of Staten Island quickly became apparent, while chatter stirred of the two consistently being spotted out on dates. Yet nothing made headlines quite like Flavor Flav’s Instagram post for Davidson’s birthday where the couple is seen lounging in matching SKIMS pajamas along with the rapper and Kris Jenner.
It’s been said that the two have decided to keep their relationship exclusive and are determined to make it work long-distance. With many insider sources coming forward to sing the praises of this unanticipated new couple, Kardashian nor Davidson has confirmed the romance. All we have is hand-holding caught by the paps to keep us warm until our next shocking update.
