For the American Music Awards on Sunday night, Machine Gun Kelly arrived on the red carpet sans his soul flame Megan Fox. Instead, the musician’s date for the awards ceremony was his 12-year-old daughter, Casie Colson Baker.
While posing for photos ahead of the ceremony, where he would go on to win the award for Favourite Rock Artist, MGK was asked about a high-profile romance that’s been making headlines of late. Despite him being close to Travis Barker, who recently got engaged to Kourtney Kardashian, reporters this time wanted intel on another of the rapper’s famous friends: none other than BDE founder Pete Davidson.
“Your boy Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian, how happy are you for him?” Entertainment Tonight’s reporter Cassie DiLaura asked MGK from the side of the red carpet. Rather than delve into the situation—which, if you haven’t caught up, now includes matching PJ dates with Flavor Flav and public hand-holding—MGK instead replied, “No comment, no comment.” Though he didn’t verbally say anything, there was the hint of a smile seen on the rapper’s face as he walked away.

If you’re disappointed in MGK’s refusal to humour us with insider intel, look no further than Davidson’s Saturday Night Live co-stars, who commented on the comedian’s latest headline-making romance earlier in the week. “I don’t know what the nature of the friendship is, but it seems like they’re having a good time hanging out,” Bowen Yang told Page Six. Kenan Thompson added, “They look like they’re having a good time.” Indeed they do.
Meanwhile, new in the Kim and Pete camp today is fans speculating the comedian took his rumoured girlfriend’s latest Instagram photo: a bikini hot tub pic, showing off her illegally toned physique. The proof? Not only does the situation look pretty romantic (and it looks like Kardashian isn’t joined by anyone other than the photographer), the angle the photo is taken at is high—and Davidson sits pretty at 6ft 2 inches tall.
“That’s a high angle… did Pete take this? 📸,” one person commented, while another said, “The camera angle is too high and Pete Davidson is tall af, so it is Pete Davidson.”
However, someone in the more sceptical camp, who likely joins the thousands on TikTok speculating the relationship is pure Kris Jenner PR, theorised, “Her assistant strategically took this to make the internet go wild thinking Pete Davidson took it.”
