If her appearance on Saturday Night Live was any indication, Kim Kardashian doesn’t mind being the brunt of a joke. At the weekend, Kardashian (who has been married three times) attended a pre-wedding soirée for celebrity PR executive and family friend Simon Huck and Phil Riportella. The reality star was tasked with giving a speech which she delivered at her own expense.

In now expired footage from Tracy Romulus’ Instagram story, the Skims founder referenced her past marriages.

“It’s honestly so nice to be here for a gay wedding. I mean, I haven’t been to one since my second wedding,” she said to a roar of laughter. The 41-year-old is of course referring to her short-lived marriage to former NBA star, Kris Humphries. They were married in 2011 and lasted all of 72 days. Rumours followed at the time that Humphries may have been gay.

The 41-year-old continued her speech: “When Simon asked me to speak, I was a little bit confused because I haven’t really figured out this marriage thing myself. So I don’t know what kind of advice he thinks I’m going to give to you guys tonight.”

On a more genuine note she said, “I know that this is gonna work. I know real love when I see it.”

Kardashian was first married to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004, the aforementioned Humphries and 2011 and Kanye West from 2014. The latter split in early 2021 and filed for divorce. Kardashian and West share four children together, North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.

In late October, Kardashian sparked romance rumours when she was spotted holding hands at a Halloween theme park with SNL regular, Pete Davidson. Since then the pair have been spotted on multiple occasions together though neither celebrity has publicly confirmed the speculation. West was quick to unfollow his estranged wife though the former couple continue to co-parent.
