Gigi Hadid’s knitwear cashmere label Guest in Residence just launched its Spring/Summer 2023 collection and it’s safe to say, we need the whole assortment. The line, dubbed “Beach House,” focuses on “effortless comfort” and “ease-of-mind dressing,” with extra-fine rib knits cardigans, fluid silhouettes and après-swim jersey kaftans. Every look is perfect for walks along the beach or warm-weather adventures — like we said, we want one of everything!
The “Beach House” campaign was photographed by Terence Connors in Malibu featuring Hadid flexing her modeling prowess, along with Khalil Ghani and Hadid’s longtime friend since childhood,Francesca Aiello — the founder of bikini brand Frankies Bikinis, whom Hadid collaborated with last year.
Posing in a baby pink sweatsuit, Aiello commemorated the campaign on Instagram, writing, “a day at home with my girls for @guestinresidence 😌 (nothing brings me more joy than working and playing with these two for our brands.) @terenceconnors 🤙🏼💕.”
Hadid took to Instagram to celebrate the launch as well. “Spring has fully sprung at GuestInResidence.com with the launch of our “Beach House” collection today,” she wrote on Tuesday. “This is my love letter to the California Coast .. the colors and shapes are easy-going, a lil romantic, and chic— in our lightest & softest cashmere yet 🕊️ Pictured above are pieces from both ‘Beach House’ and our Core Collections; your fave basics are back in lighter weights and new spring colors (+ stripes🥹!) 🤍.”
Far from the only project Hadid has in the works, the new Next in Fashion co-host also has a new Coca-Cola partnership. She’s also a busy mom and shares her 2-year-old daughter Khai with her ex, One Direction alum Zayn Malik.
In a new interview, the multi-hyphenate explained how she manages to juggle it all. “I think that becoming a mom has made me realize that you just really have to start to get your eggs in a row and prioritize your time between being a mom and a person and then also a working mom and person. I think it really starts for me with just prioritizing and organizing that time first, and then making sure that the jobs and partnerships and opportunities that I do make time for are ones that feel genuine to me and feel fulfilling once the day is done.”
