In a social media post published to Instagram in April, Elizabeth Chambers told followers she was focussing on healing amid the bombshell Armie Hammer scandal. Now according to reports the 39-year-old has begun dating again. A source told People, that “Chambers has moved on from Hammer and doesn’t mention her ex to her circle of friends. She is currently dating after splitting from her estranged husband last year.”
It is currently not known who Chambers is seeing but we love to see her move on!
The television personality first filed for divorce from Hammer in July 2020 citing irreconcilable differences. In January 2021 Hammer was accused of rape and cannibalism by Twitter account @tevinauguste who shared a series of frightening DMs. After solid evidence was presented by Hammer’s alleged victim Effie, he is now under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department. The outcome of that is not yet known.
The last we heard from Hammer was in early June when Vanity Fair reported that the Call Me By Your Name star was checked into a rehabilitation program. A witness reported seeing Hammer arrive to the Grand Cayman airport to meet his estranged ex-wife. He is believed to be receiving treatment at a Florida facility.
A family friend told the publication Hammer “is committed to getting healthy and having custody of his kids. This is a clear sign that he is taking back control [of] his life and knows that this [is] a step towards his overall well being.”
Last week Deadline reported that the family of Hammer (which is detailed in this bombshell exposé) will be explored in a new Discovery+ limited series. According to the publication, House of Hammer will feature “exclusive access to Casey Hammer, granddaughter of Armand Hammer and aunt of Armie Hammer, and will draw upon research by former New York Times reporter and Dossier: The Secret History of Armand Hammer author Edward Jay Epstein.”
