MARCH 11, 2021: Vanity Fair has published a lengthy online story today detailing actor Armie Hammer‘s sordid bedroom fantasises and problematic and at times “violent” behaviour. Titled The Fall of Armie Hammer: A Family Saga of Sex, Money, Drugs, and Betrayal the publication dives into Hammer’s family past, dating way back to 1919. You could swear it was the plot line to the satirical series, Succession.
Furthermore, the piece speaks to Hammer’s former girlfriends, Courtney Vucekovich and Paige Lorenze, as each detail their past relationships with the actor.
Here, we breakdown the biggest bombshell revelations to come out of the feature.
Armie Hammer’s extended Family were wrought with crime
According to biographer Edward Jay Epstein, who published the 1996 book Dossier: The Secret History of Armand Hammer, Hammer’s great-great-grandfather, Dr. Julius Hammer, administered an abortion to the wife of a Russian diplomat in 1919. The woman died just days later and Julius was eventually convicted of first-degree manslaughter and sent to prison for up to 12 years.
The son to Julius Hammer, Armand, left the Soviet Union for Los Angeles after the divorce of his second wife and married an American woman, Frances Barrett Tolman in 1956. He drove the oil company, Occidental Petroleum, to huge success but was later exposed of money laundering and funding Soviet espionage after his death in 1990.
Armand’s son Julian, is believed to have sexually abused his own daughter, Casey, when she was a child. Casey is Hammer’s aunt.

Via Playboy, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and InStyle, Hammer has shared a keen interest in tying knots in the past. Shortly following the divorce from Elizabeth Chambers, Hammer’s former girlfriend of June 2020, Courtney Vucekovich, has revealed further details.
“One of the most shocking things that I realised he did to other women is he says that he had never tied up a human being before, only mannequins,” Vucekovich told Vanity Fair. “I remember thinking, like, ‘That’s got to be true because that’s the weirdest f**king thing I’ve ever heard. Who would lie about that? That’s weirder than saying, ‘I tied up 25 people.’”

Hammer was reportedly drinking heavily and persuaded Vucekovich to participate in “a bondage scenario that I was not comfortable with.” “Cold and angry,” he sulked to try and convince her before she “eventually consented and really regretted doing so.”
Vucekovich ended the relationship in September 2020 and checked herself into a treatment program for trauma.
ARMIE Hammer’s Next Girlfriend, Paige Lorenze, Says He Is A “Scary Person”
“[Hammer] started making rules for me of things I could and couldn’t do, who I could have over, who I couldn’t. He told me that I couldn’t have anyone else in my bed. And then I just started to feel really unsafe and really sick to my stomach about things,” Lorenze said. “I was also emotionally dependent on him.” She ended the relationship over text “because you never know what you’re going to get with him—he’s kind of a scary person.”
In early 2021, Lorenze saw screenshot texts of text messages Hammer had allegedly sent several women from the anonymous @houseofeffie Instagram account. The messaged included unverified exchanged with the actor where he denoted his penchant for cannibalism.
“I saw these screenshots and my stomach just dropped, like, Holy f**k,” said Lorenze. “Because he would say things to me…weird stuff…like, ‘I want to eat your ribs,’” she said. “The scariest part of it is that I did love him in a way. I would’ve let him kind of do anything. He had a certain hold over me.”
ARMIE Hammer Was Reportedly Broke
Lorenze has also said that at the time of her relationship with Hammer, he “didn’t have any money”. He was reportedly loaned money from friends and she paid for everything.

The article alleges that Hammer has a private Instagram account, seperate to his public profile. The actor reportedly posted an unknown image to his private account accompanied by the caption, “Divorce is so fun. Not as fun as drugs. But what is.”
He also posted a video of a woman in black lingerie in his bed with a caption reading, “Well… my ex (for a very good reason) wife is refusing to come back to America with my children. So I have to go back to Cayman… which sucks. Except there are a few silver linings. Like f**king Ms. Cayman again while I’m down there.” (Hammer later issued an apology and clarification that the woman in his picture was not the actual Miss Cayman.)
