Despite an earlier report suggesting that Elizabeth Chambers and her estranged ex-husband Armie Hammer were “figuring things out as a couple,” it seems that their relationship purely stands as co-parents. Over the weekend Chambers introduced her new beau to the world where she shared a number of PDA-fueled Polaroids on Instagram.

“Happy Friday”, she wrote in the caption. According to a source for Peoplethe new couple have been dating for over six months and added that she’s “super happy and in love.” While it is not known who this mystery man is, rumors of a relationship were actually sparked back in September 2021.

Chambers filed for divorce from her Hollywood husband back in July 2020 citing irreconcilable differences after 10 years of marriage. The following January he was accused of sexual assault and cannibalism. He is currently under investigation by the LAPD for a 2017 incident after a woman named Effie accused him of rape.

The Call Me By Your Name actor is also the subject of a Discovery+ docuseries House of Hammer which details the 2020 social media scandal and his previously unknown dark family history. The three-part series calls on experts, journalists and the actor’s aunt, Casey Hammer.

Since day dot Hammer and his legal team have maintained his innocence. “From day one, Mr. Hammer has maintained that all of his interactions with” every sexual partner “have been completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory,” Hammer’s attorney Andrew Brettler said in a statement.

Hammer is believed to be residing in the Cayman Islands where his former wife and two children, daughter Harper Grace, 7, and son Ford Douglas Armand, 4, live.
