There are many reasons people go to Grand Cayman: the gorgeous white sand beaches, the stunning clear blue water and the world class hotels and restaurants. Now, there is another reason: the latest location of BIRD Bakery, the beloved bakery and restaurant founded by entrepreneur and TV personality Elizabeth Chambers in 2012.

This latest location on the small Caribbean island — where Chambers has been living with her two children since the pandemic lockdowns — marks a major milestone for BIRD Bakery; it’s the very first international outpost. With a well-earned reputation for its mouthwatering, high-quality baked goods and savory dishes crafted from scratch using cherished family recipes from Chambers’ own grandmother and mother, this international expansion marks the company’s fourth storefront (joining its existing locations in San Antonio, Dallas and Denver), which have all become favorites among locals and tourists alike.

“We’re thrilled to bring the BIRD Bakery experience to the Cayman Islands,” says Chambers, Founder & CEO of BIRD Bakery. “Each location of BIRD Bakery holds a special place in my heart, and after spending a significant amount of time on the island, I know firsthand how much this wonderful community values quality food, family recipes and hospitality. I’m very much looking forward to sharing our signature treats and beloved sandwiches, soups, and breakfast items with the incredible people and visitors of this island.”

The Cayman Islands location will offer a tailored menu that showcases the classic favorites that have made BIRD Bakery a major success in its original Texas and Colorado locations. Customers can indulge in a range of the bakery’s most popular cupcakes, cookies, sandwiches and bars, all meticulously prepared with the same care and attention to detail that has become synonymous with the BIRD Bakery name. Teas come from local purveyor Tea Time in Cayman and BIRD Bakery’s mouthwatering desserts, breakfast delights, sandwiches and salads are all lovingly made from scratch each day.

Chambers firmly upholds the belief in using only the finest and highest quality ingredients, understanding that indulgence is synonymous with self-care. These beloved bakeries have seamlessly filled a niche in local communities, serving up fresh and nostalgic treats that have guests coming back for more, again and again.

Situated as a storefront within the picturesque Mykonos restaurant at The Grove just off picturesque Seven Mile Beach, the new location boasts a charming and welcoming atmosphere, providing the ideal setting for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. With both indoor and outdoor seating options available, customers can relish their delectable treats while immersing themselves in the breathtaking views of the island.

BIRD Bakery’s Cayman Islands storefront will be open seven days a week, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Visit at 1358 W Bay Rd, Grand Cayman.
