Saks Fifth Avenue knows how to throw a party, and the retailer once again kicked off New York Fashion Week with an exclusive fête filled with an A-list performance and starry guests. On Wednesday evening, Saks CEO Marc Metrick and Maybe I Do actress Emma Roberts hosted a party at the Jazz Club at the Aman New York, that featured an exclusive performance from Charli XCX.
The English pop star arrived in a blue denim lace-up minidress from must-have brand Ludovic de Saint Sernin. The dress featured a pleated skirt with two front slits and the LdSS motif emblazoned all over. The singer-songwriter teamed her frock with a matching denim moto jacket and knee-high black lace-up boots.
The star left her raven strands down in a bouncy blowout, and sported a glowing complexion with a dramatic smokey wing eyeshadow. The “1999” singer completed the ensemble with a black handbag, futuristic shield shades and silver hoop earrings.

The night began with a DJ set from Alice Longyu Gao, before Charli XCX took the stage to perform a few of her classics like the beloved 2017 tune “Boys.” She also sang songs from her 2022 album Crash, like “Beg For You” and “Good Ones.”
After, New Orleans rapper and Beyoncé collaborator Big Freedia took the stage with a special musical performance. Known for her work on the 2016 Lemonade song “Formation,” and the new Renaissance track “Break My Soul,” Big Freedia knew how to keep the party going.
It girls from Julia Fox and Ivy Getty to Nicky Hilton Rothschild and model Leyna Bloom were in attendence, as well as Alice + Olivia designer Stacey Bendet and model and Prakti Beauty founder Pritika Swarup.
