Blue Ivy Carter is no stranger to the spotlight. She’s been making public appearances with her parents Beyoncé and Jay-Z over the years at award shows, during performances a more. But during her mom’s latest Renaissance World Tour,, the 11-year-old has taken center stage dancing alongside her famous mother.

Blue made surprise Renaissance cameos during shows in London and Paris, appearing center-stage for Beyoncé’s performance of “My Power” from 2019’s The Lion King soundtrack The Gift. Beyoncé commemorated the occasion in a post on Instagram writing, “My beautiful first born 🙏🏾 I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama. You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel,” she wrote.

“This is my kin folk, that’s my bloodline,” Beyoncé sang as Blue stepped out to dance. Blue continued to impress the audience while Kendrick Lamar’s track “Alright” played, keeping up with her mom’s dance crew.

Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles- Lawson posted a myriad of videos to her Instagram account of Blue’s effortlessly executed dance moves on stage with her mom. The proud grandmother wrote, “Blue Ivy performed in the front of a huge audience!! And yes, I am a proud grandma❤️❤️ I am truly amazed by the courage that this brave, talented, beautiful 11-year-old exhibited last night!”

In one video she shared, Blue begins to crack a sweet smirk on her face as the audience chants her name over and over again.

She continued, “There were almost 70,000 people in that audience. She danced with professional dancers, grown folks, she did complicated choreography and moves that they rehearsed for months! She rehearsed and learned this in a little over a week. She was so smooth with it! Has such a smooth swag (reminds me of the great Aaliyah❤️) So cool with it! She is the coolest most confident 11-year-old I know!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

In other posts, Knowles- Lawson continued to point out Blue’s young age and just how many people she was performing in front of. “11-year-old Blue doing the choreo of adults looking cool as hell and killing it!! In the front of 60k people!!!!” With a few shows under her belt, Knowles- Lawson shared, “4 Shows down for Blue Ivy and killing it even more! Get it Baby and I like the hairstyle changes too❤️.”

For one performance, Blue wore silver metallic trousers and a short sleeve top over a sequined long sleeved silver turtleneck to match her mom’s custom silver Loewe look. In another, Blue adorned a boiler suit with a crimson sequin turtleneck beneath to coordinate with Beyoncé’s red bespoke Off-White ensemble.

It’s hardly Blue’s first time taking the stage with her mom. One could argue that Blue’s first famous appearance took place at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards when Beyoncé completed her performance of “Love on Top,” dropped her mic and whipped open her purple bedazzled jacket to reveal her bourgeoning baby bump.

Since then, Blue has gotten a jump start on matching her mom’s record-breaking number of Grammy wins. In 2021, Blue became the second-youngest person to ever receive a Grammy Award at just 9 years old. Blue snagged the award for Best Music Video for “Brown Skin Girl” from the Lion King: The Gift album alongside Beyoncé — Blue even has a writing credit on the song.

Throughout the years, Blue has appeared in countless music videos and background vocals for both her parents, from Beyoncé’s tribute song to her, “Blue,” and the Lemonade visual album to her dad Jay-Z’s tracks “Glory” and “Blue’s Freestyle.”

In 2022, Blue joined her mother for her Academy Awards performance, opening the ceremony with her Oscar-nominated song, “Be Alive,” from the film King Richard. Performing remotely, Beyoncé and her ensemble put on a show from Venus and Serena Williams‘ hometown Tragniew Park Tennis Courts in Compton, California, with Blue, King Richard actresses Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton, and the Compton Cowboys Junior Equestrians.

In January, Beyoncé returned to the stage for her first concert since 2018 at the new Atlantis the Royal Resort in Palm Jumeriah, Dubai to commemorate the unveiling of luxury hotel resort with Blue, her extravagant entourage of background dancers, the 48-member troupe of the all-female Dubaian orchestra Firdaus and the Lebanese dance group and winners of America’s Got Talent, Mayyas.

Considering how much Blue has accomplished at just 11 years old, there’s no stopping this little powerhouse. We can’t wait to see her take the stage with her mom again throughout the rest of the Renaissance tour.
