High above the red carpet for the 79th Cannes Film Festival sits the Dior Beauty Suite, a chic haven on the sixth floor of the Le Majestic hotel, offering glam services to festival stars — and a respite for relaxation while taking in the vibe of the Cinema de la Plage.

The beauty mecca has hosted the cream of this year’s crop of notables, including actress Ruth Negga, and hairstylist and mega-influencer Tchaga, among others. And it’s no wonder; the environment is a delight to immerse oneself in and guests can try Dior’s latest skincare, suncare and makeup — including new Dior Addict Glass Lipstick and Backstage Glassy Glow Stick.

Decked out in Riviera-perfect blue and white stripes, the decor displays the iconic Dior Masquerade couture motif. Here, scallop-edged seaside canopies and whimsical figures dressed for a fete have a hand-drawn effect, inspired by the sketches of French fashion illustrator Christian Bérard, a close friend and confidant of Christian Dior himself, who was thrilled by festive occasions.

The primping pit stop is designed with privacy in mind, thanks to jewel-box rooms dedicated to hair styling, nail services, men’s grooming and a cluster of retro-chic vanities meant for makeup touch-ups. The Maison’s star skincare expert, celebrity aesthetician Sarah Akram, is treating stars in an ultra-discreet studio within the suite.

At the center of the space is an enormous, white, C-shaped sofa, destined to spark conversation. Guests can also saunter out to a patio strewn with powder-blue chase lounges overlooking the iconic Cannes Croisette dotted with palm trees.

The oasis won’t be around long: Now through the close of the festival on May 23, A-listers can book all manner of beauty services at the swank spot — even a version of the Maison’s $1,300 Haute Couture Facial Treatment designed by Akram.
