From Schiaparelli, to Mugler, and Gucci, Beyoncé is adding another designer to her rotation: Nensi Dojaka. In new photos released on her website, Beyoncé struck a pose in a cutout minidress by the designer, accessorized with Prada sunglasses and a Judith Leiber custom bejeweled clutch.

The edgy black Nensi Dojaka minidress was from the designer’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection, and featured a tight velvet bodice, with sheer mesh long sleeves, and a double-spliced extreme cutout bust. Her sheer mesh tights (which she styled like it was seen on the runway), also contained cutouts with thin garter-like bands.

Her bespoke and bedazzled Judith Leiber clutch was in the form of a Texas license plate with “Lone Star State” emblazoned across the front, as well as an explicit word crossed out in red.

The designer took to Instagram to commemorate the monumental occasion. “The ultimate queen @beyonce in aw22 ❤️,” she wrote.

Styled by Kelvin (K.J.) Moody, with “soft glam” by Rokael Lizama, Beyoncé’s waist-length honey blonde tresses were straightened by Neal Farinah. With the images shot by photographer Blair Caldwell, Beyoncé also posed alongside former Destiny’s Child bandmate Michelle Williams for a night out on the town.

The Albanian designer has cemented herself as a celebrity favorite in the last year. Known for her slinky, layered, sexy and sheer ensembles, Dojaka studied lingerie design in her BA program before moving on to renowned fashion college Central Saint Martins, where she launched her eponymous label in 2017.

Bella Hadid wore one of her creations to the 2020 MTV VMAs and since then, the designer was granted the 2021 LVMH Prize for Young Designers, the 2021 British Fashion Council Award for emerging designer talent, and has been chosen by fashion heavy-hitters Zendaya, Hailey Bieber, Emily Ratajkowski, Jourdan Dunn, Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo, making her a red carpet mainstay.

Beyoncé has put on a parade of avant-garde high-fashion looks since releasing her seventh solo studio album Renaissance on July 29. She wore both established and up-and-coming designers in her album art imagery, as well as her disco-glam House of Timothy White ensemble for her “Club Renaissance” album party. Looks from her forthcoming “I’m That Girl” music video were recently released in a two minute teaser, revealing a futuristic and fashion-forward aesthetic.
