To celebrate turning 30 last week, Gemini model, writer and activist Emily Ratajkowski packed a suitcase full of new season Versace, taking the brand’s seaside-themed pieces to a tropical beach and posting hot ‘gram after hot ‘gram in the process.
But despite now being back in a chillier New York City, Ratajkowski’s wardrobe tour isn’t over just yet.
For a Tribeca Talk with friend, comedian Amy Schumer, at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival, Ratajkowski reached for one of the most exciting up-and-coming labels right now: Nensi Dojaka.
If you haven’t yet heard the name of the Albanian designer who recently graduated from Central Saint Martins, the world-renowned fashion school in London, you definitely will recognize the label’s signature cut-out LBDs.
Released at a time when cut-out pieces are one of the most prominent trends in fashion, the likes of Bella Hadid, Emma Corrin and Sophie Turner have all reached for pieces from Nensi Dojaka of late.
For her Nensi Dojaka moment, Ratajkowski wore the brand’s iconic plunging knot minidress with her hair down in its signature tousled style, accessorizing with a leather clutch and strappy black sandals lacing up above her ankle.

At one point of the night, Ratajkowski shifted her conversation with Schumer to discuss Judd Apatow’s 2012 comedy This Is 40 (Schumer had celebrated her 40th birthday two weeks prior). While she recognized the film was “hilarious and very spot-on,” Ratajkowski went on to point out that the movie, and the way Megan Fox is treated, “is not ageing well.”
“Megan Fox in it is treated so horribly,” she said, referencing Fox being ogled at while swimming in the pool by older men in one scene.
“Sorry to whoever made This Is 40, I’m really roasting you right now,” she continued, to which Schumer answered, “It’s Judd Apatow!” Schumer, who was directed by Apatow in 2015 rom-com Trainwreck joked, “I don’t care, I’m ready to burn that bridge to the ground.”
