Walking the red carpet for High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season 3 premiere, the ever-stylish Olivia Rodrigo reunited with her costars — including her alleged ex, Joshua Bassett.

Playing an on-screen couple, the pair were rumored to have been in a romantic relationship off-screen as well, prompting many to speculate that Bassett is who Rodrigo’s hit breakup ballad “Driver’s License” is about. While neither have confirmed to have ever been involved, the costars laughed and posed alongside one another at the premiere event Wednesday evening.

“Love all these people so so so much,” Rodrigo posted to Instagram. “knowing and working with them has been one of the greatest joys of my life. episode 1 of season 3 of hsmtmts is streaming now! wildcats forever❤️.”

With Bassett in an all-black Saint Laurent suit by Anthony Vaccarello and black painted fingernails, Rodrigo sported an inventive LBD by trending designer Nensi Dojaka.

Rodrigo’s strapless minidress featured a midriff cutout with a sheer overlay covering half of her torso, topped off with a delicate tied bow. Styled by “wardrobe scientists” Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo, the Sour artist adorned sheer black Wolford stockings and patent leather platform pumps with her long brunette tresses down in waves, and a bold red lip matching her red mani. The singer accessorized her look with dangly silver earrings, a chain choker with a “D” charm, and layered silver rings.

The Albanian designer has cemented herself as a celebrity favorite in the last year. Creating slinky, layered, sheer ensembles, Dojaka studied lingerie design in her BA program before moving on to Central Saint Martins, where she launched her eponymous label in 2017.

The young designer sky-rocketed in popularity last year, after Bella Hadid wore one of her creations to the 2020 MTV VMAs. Since then, she has been granted the 2021 LVMH Prize for Young designers, the 2021 British Fashion Council Award for emerging designer talent, and has been chosen by fashion heavy-hitters Zendaya, Hailey Bieber, Emily Ratajkowski, Jourdan Dunn, Dua Lipa and now Rodrigo, making her a red carpet mainstay.
