Just like the original series, the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That, had a plethora of iconic fashion moments in season 1. Who could forget the return of Carrie’s Fendi baguette bag, or the grandma-core outfit she wore with a pair of plastic gloves, to the many different hats and hair pieces that caused a stir on set?

We can’t wait to see what’s in store for season 2, and from the looks of the show’s costume designer’s Instagram account, @andjustlikethatcostume, it looks like production is about to start back up soon!

On Thursday, the account posted a photo of wardrobe stylist, Danny Santiago, looking fabulous in a very Carrie-esq hat while holding up a pair of harem pants. The photo is captioned “And so it begins…S2”, while also tagging Santiago adding that he is “our new fit model.”

Santiago styles alongside Molly Rogers, who worked on the original series alongside Sex and the City costume designer, Patricia Field. Field also worked on the two Sex in the City films, but did not return for the HBO Max reboot, as she’s currently working as the costume designer on Netflix’s hit show, Emily in Paris and graciously passed the baton on to colleague and friend Rogers.

As for the details of season 2? Michael Patrick King, the showrunner of the HBO Max series, told Variety that he and his writing team are planning to work Samantha into the storyline more, despite confirming that Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha in the original series, will not return to the reboot.

King did not reveal too many details that would give the upcoming season away, saying, “It’s all so new right now.” He continued, “My goal is to bring all the characters into the mix together, so that they’re not so much on separate runways.”

We can’t wait to see what season 2 (and all the incredible costumes) has in store.
