In the footage shared online by fans, Jennie can be seen leaving the stage while fellow members Kim Jisoo, Park Rosé and Lisa reassured fans and carried on the rest of the concert. “It seems that we will be proceeding with the rest of the show without Jennie,” Rosé expressed to their worried fans. “However, we will try our best to fill the stage up for you guys and give you the best night so don’t worry about that. In the meantime, our hearts will be with Jennie, supporting her.”

Following the concert, BLACKPINK’s management YG Entertainment released their official statement addressing the issue asking fans for their understanding. The statement mentioned that Jennie is currently taking rest due to health problems. The management and the K-pop Idol also expressed their heartfelt apologies to Australian blinks that she couldn’t finish the set. Although she was determined to carry on with her performance, the artist had to prioritise her health as urged by the medical staff present. She promised her fans that she will focus on recovering fast so she can return to the tour soon. Blinks quickly took to their social media accounts to assure Jennie that they will be waiting for her full recovery.
