Part villain, part heroine, The Batman’s Selina Kyle is undoubtably fierce. Portrayed by the inimitable Zoë Kravitz in Matt Reeves’ forthcoming edition to the DC cinematic universe, the ever-intriguing Catwoman has been given new life by the Saint Laurent brand ambassador.

Channeling the duplicitous vigilante, Kravitz has discovered her inner feline throughout the film’s press tour. After opting for the likes of Khaite and The Row throughout her press junket, Kravitz has been sporting ensembles sleek and chic enough for her mysterious Gotham City character, with her latest look even further epitomizing the Catwoman aesthetic on the red carpet for a special screening of The Batman in London on Wednesday.

Taking a classic LBD and spinning any notion of tradition on its head, Kravitz expertly rocked the classic, slim-fitting black gown by French fashion house Saint Laurent. With a scalloped halter neckline, the creative confection by designer Anthony Vaccarello turned heads with its unexpected symmetrical double bust cutouts.

On Tuesday, while looking over the cloudy Parisian landscape, Kravitz wore a Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2022 belted leather trench coat over her black fishnet top in an Instagram post, which also perfectly fits the style of her on-screen character.

Styled by Andrew Mukamal, the Anthony Vaccarello ready-to-wear creation called to mind the full-leather look the actress was spotted adorning while filming The Batman in the UK. A patent leather belted trench, leather lace-up knee-high boots, and a coordinating fascinator, dreamt up by the film’s Academy Award-winning costume designer Jacqueline Durran of Anna Karenina and Little Women fame.

Coming to our screens on March 4th, Kravitz will appear alongside Robert Pattinson’s titular role of The Batman in this dark retelling of an iconic superhero tale.
