Zac Posen is getting married! On Monday, the fashion designer announced his engagement to principal dancer of the New York City Ballet, Harrison Ball. Posen shared a series of loving images of the couple on Instagram, captioning the post, “Engaged 💍 8.8.22,” and tagging his new fiancé.

Beginning with a snapshot of the pair sharing a kiss on the beach, the carousel ended with a picture of his engagement ring — a silver band with a black stripe down the middle.

The exciting news drew congratulatory comments from Posen’s A-list fashion crowd, including supermodels Iman, Kimora Lee Simmons, Karen Elson, and Carolyn Murphy, editors Nina García, Hamish Bowles, and Laura Brown, Rodarte designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy, Moda Operandi’s Lauren Santo Domingo and actresses Zoey Deutch, Uzo Aduba, Reese Witherspoon, and Nina Dobrev.

Ball took to his own social media account to post a picture of the pair between the Twin Arrows in Arizona, writing, “💍🤵🏼‍♂️🤵🏻‍♂️ GETTING HITCHED – CUPIDS ARROW(S) 💘.”

It’s unclear how long the couple has been together, but the pair made their relationship Instagram official back in April of 2021 in honor of Ball’s birthday.

The two even got the chance to work together earlier this year when Posen collaborated with the New York City Ballet. The designer posted dancers wearing his costumes, performing a number choreographed by Ball.

Known for his sensationally designed gowns as well as his masterful tailoring, Posen is the man behind many memorable red carpet moments, from Beyoncé to Rihanna, Emily Ratajkowski, Katie Holmes, Sarah Jessica Parker and more.

After closing his eponymous label in 2019, the star has continued to create custom wedding gowns, launched a gender-neutral engagement ring collection with Blue Nile, and forayed into costume design for Graham Moore’s bespoke Hollywood crime flick The Outfit earlier this year.

Stay tuned as we await more wedding details to come!
