Sydney Sweeney has been hard at work with a handful of new projects underway, and yet, she managed to fit another film in her schedule. According to Deadline, the Euphoria star will act opposite Julianne Moore in the new Apple Original Film, Echo Valley.

The upcoming movie originated from a script written by Mare of Easttown creator Brad Ingelsby, and will be directed by Beast’s Michael Pearce.

Academy Award winner Moore will portray Kate Garrett, a woman reeling from a personal tragedy, who boards and trains horses at Echo Valley Farm in a secluded area of southern Pennsylvania. Emmy-nominated Sweeney will play Kate’s wayward daughter Claire, who arrives at her mother’s doorstep in the middle of the night, terrified and covered in someone else’s blood. The triller will follow the great lengths a mother will go to save her child.

The Apple Studios movie will be produced by Scott Free Films and The Walsh company. According to Variety, production is expected to begin this summer.

Sweeney received rave reviews at the Berlin Film Festival in February for her leading role in Reality, Tina Satter’s film based on the American intelligence specialist and whistle-blower Reality Winner.

This year, Sweeney will star in the upcoming Marvel film Madame Web alongside Dakota Johnson and Tony Tost’s directorial debut, previously titled National Anthem, and now dubbed Americana. She will also star in a new romantic comedy alongside Glen Powell for Sony Pictures and the forthcoming psychological thriller Immaculate with fellow White Lotus alum Simona Tabasco.

In October, Deadline reported that Sweeney will star in and executive produce the new Barbarella movie for Sony Pictures. The studio hasn’t named a director or writer yet, but the film is based on Jean-Claude Forest’s French comic book series on a space-age vixen that was later turned into the 1968 movie starring Jane Fonda.

She’s also attached to an upcoming adaptation of The Registration by Madison Lawson. Deadline announced the news in July, and Sweeney is set to both star and executive produce.

And don’t forget, season 3 of Euphoria is also on the horizon. We’ll be keeping an eye on everything she’s juggling, so watch this space.
