Musician, model and actress Suki Waterhouse is gearing up for the release of the new series, Daisy Jones & the Six, where she stars alongside Riley Keough, Sam Claflin and Camila Morrone — and she’s doing it in true ’70s style.

The series is based on the 2019 best-selling novel of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid and follows the rise of a fictional rock band in the 1970s — and their unexpected fall from fame. As the whole cast made the rounds in N.Y.C. throughout the week, Waterhouse has been serving up pure ’70s glam in each appearance, bringing some of her character’s rocker-chic energy off of the screen and into real life.

Waterhouse portrays the band’s keyboardist Karen Sirko in the show — and has some impressive music abilities herself. Last year she released her debut album, I Can’t Let Go, along with her EP, “Milk Teeth.”

The beloved book has a lot of fans eagerly waiting the release date on March 3, and when asked during an interview on TODAY if she and co-star Will Harrison feel the pressure, Waterhouse joked with a laugh, “We’re terrified.” She continued, “We’re so excited. We got cast in the show three years ago. It’s been a long time. But it gave us more time to practice our instruments and gel as a band.”

The Amazon Prime Video adaptation will detail the romance and love triangle between lead singers Daisy Jones (Keough) and Billy Dunne (Claflin), and Billy’s wife Camila (Morrone). The series also jumps forward through time 20 years after the band splits to reveal what happened between them.

Fans will also see more relationship drama from Waterhouse and Harrison’s characters. During their interview, Waterhouse revealed the trick that helped them nail their chemistry read. Before their audition, she asked Harrison to give her a piggyback ride down the hallway and into the room “just to have something we could be laughing about before,” Waterhouse said. Harrison added, “It was a no-brainer for me.”

As we await the premiere (the first three episodes of Daisy Jones & the Six will drop on Prime Video on March 3), we’re rounding up all of Waterhouse’s best outfits of the press tour. See them all, below.
