Selena Gomez confirmed that Only Murders in the Building has wrapped filming on season 3. The actress commemorated the occasion with a new Instagram post, paying homage to her new co-star Meryl Streep.
“Well, we wrapped season 3 of @onlymurdershulu -I’m not sure I have enough words to explain just how beautiful this season has been,” wrote Gomez. “It has been deliriously hilarious, challenging and for me, an absolute dream. I’ll post more soon. But I’ll leave it with the woman I adore, look up to and love. 🥰”

The feel-good comedic trio Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin are returning to Hulu for a third season of their endearing true crime series — adding legendary actress Streep to the roster along with beloved actor Paul Rudd who’s making a return. Gomez revealed the exciting news with a wholesome video posted on Instagram in January. “Hey guys! We’re on set! What are we shooting? Season 3! The gang is back!” Gomez exclaims while flashing the camera to costars Short and Martin. “Yay! Could this honestly get any better? Oh wait,” she says as she turns the camera to Rudd.
The show was picked up for a third season in July 2022. The cast has been spotted filming in New York City’s Upper West Side, with Gomez traipsing around in a wedding gownat one point.
The actress wore a strapless A-line ballgown with a sweetheart neckline and a lace bodice that eased into light floral embroidery on a tulle skirt. Gomez wore a sheer veil, white gloves and chunky white boots as opposed to traditional wedding heels — all the better for chasing murderers? Short’s character Oliver and Martin’s Charles were also photographed dressed to the nines in tuxedos, fleeing the scene with Gomez.
The Rare Beauty founder posted some behind-the-scene photos in the bridal look to her Instagram account writing, “Just a regular day at work,” and tagged the Hulu show.
