There’s no one that can dress their baby bump better than Rihanna. The singer attended an event over the weekend, where she rocked a green top, which showed off her belly, and sparkly pants.
“It’s a long nine to 10 months. You have to enjoy it,” she said of her stylish looks. “I’m trying to enjoy it as much as I could. And fashion is one of my favorite things, so, you know, we’re defying what it even means to be pregnant and maternal. It can get uncomfortable at times and so you can dress the part and pretend.”
Recently, the “We Found Love” songstress revealed she and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, are expecting their first child together. “It’s all an exciting journey so far. I’m just taking it as it comes every week. There’s always something new and I’m just taking it and I’m enjoying it,” she admitted, adding that she is loving “donuts, so far.”
Though her new tot arrives most likely in the spring, she is still focused on releasing some new tunes — which will not be directed at kids. “Yes, you’re still going to get music from me,” she confessed. “My fans would kill me if they waited this long for a lullaby.”
Rihanna and the rapper sparked romance rumors a few years ago, and now their relationship seems to be solid. So much so, the musical artist and the brunette babe even spoke about wanting to expand their brood one day.
“So much better when you got ‘the One.’ She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones. I think when you know, you know. She’s the One,” A$AP gushed in an interview of his lady. “I think I’d be an incredible, remarkably overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very.”
“I’m working like this now so that I don’t have to in the future,” Rihanna said of her outlook. “I know I will want to live differently. I’ll have kids – three or four of ’em.”
It looks like the Grammy winner will have no problem adjusting to becoming a mama. “Rihanna’s going to be an amazing mother,” a source revealed. “She’s had some practice already with her nieces and nephews. She can’t wait to be a mom! … She’s embracing her pregnancy body and sees it as a beautiful thing. She’s been taking care of herself and her growing baby. ASAP is attending to her every need, definitely treating her like a princess.”
