Kylie Jenner is stepping outside of her usual sartorial bounds. Normally seen in bodycon silhouettes, skin-tight latex, sexy leather, sheer ensembles and ab-baring cutouts, the makeup mogul showcased her bohemian side in a new series of photos posted on Instagram on Tuesday.
The reality television star flirted with the camera, wearing a soft, summery white off-the-shoulder Stanza dress from the L.A.-based, women-led brand DÔEN, featuring a scattered dainty blue floral print, puffy short sleeves, a square neckline with delicate bows and a billowing ankle-length skirt.
Adopting the Cottagecore trend, Jenner evoked the fairytale essence of a forest nymph, with her raven tresses styled in effortless waves, blowing in the wind. She captioned the post, “what a day.”
Jenner coyly smiled and bashfully pushed the camera away in some shots, causing fans to fill the comments asking who may have taken these photos. One commenter asked, “Did Timothée take these?” Back in April, Jenner and actor Timothée Chalamet began sparkling unexpected romance rumors.
Noting Jenner’s sartorial pivot, fans commented, “this is so Timothée coded,” “in your Timothée Era,” and “Call Me By Her Name.”
Since her trip to Paris last month, the Kylie Cosmetics founder has adopted more of a classic, romantic aesthetic than she normally goes for, proving she’s the ultimate style chameleon.
On the Parisian style tour, Jenner stepped out in a crisp white sundress, featuring a high halter neck and drop-waist silhouette before changing into a mid-century chic black Bottega Veneta draped twill dress with a sweetheart neckline and halter straps with a side slit, demonstrating quiet luxury done right.
