Forget tattoos, the newest (and less permanent) display of love is now found on our manicure with Jennifer Lopez being just the latest celebrity to emblazon a tribute on her perfectly lacquered nails. Tom Bachik, a.k.a. the celebrity manicurist to Selena Gomez, Nicola Peltz and Camila Cabello, has shared the singer’s latest tips which feature a special nod to fiancé, Ben Affleck.
Shared on Instagram, Lopez opted for a round-tip nails and a sheer nude polish. On her left hand however, she had the tiny initials “J” and “B” written in gold on her ring finger as well as a love heart on her middle finger. “If you know… then you know. Jen and Ben forever #couplegoals for the boss @jlo,” Bachik wrote on social media.
The manicure is reminiscent to a style Kourtney Kardashian wore a few months ago. Instead she opted for a fiery red hue and black initials “T” and “B” written on different fingers to pay homage to Travis Barker.
Kim Kardashian just showed off a rhinestone-encrusted “P” on her manicure last week, which many think is a tribute to boyfriend Pete Davidson.
The mani moment from Bachik let fans get a closer look at Lopez’s huge engagement ring within the image. According to an earlier report from Page Six, it is an 8.5-carat natural green diamond which makes it rare and extremely valuable.
“If that is indeed a green diamond, then I am stunned,” The Diamond Pro CEO Mike Fried told the publication. “A green diamond of that size is incredibly rare and would dwarf the value of their previous engagement ring. I would value the ring well over $5 million and could be worth more than $10 million.”
The couple are believed to be planning their wedding which will most likely be a destination wedding and occurring “soon.” “They can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together forever, happily in love,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight.
