Despite once saying they were in no rush to share their nuptials, it seems that Ben Affleck and Jenifer Lopez‘s wedding could happen in the near future. According to a source for Entertainment Tonight, the couple want to “get married soon” and are apparently discussing a destination or “tropical” ceremony. It comes as no surprise given they went Instagram official from a boat.
“They can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together forever, happily in love,” the insider told the publication, adding they are “excited to unify their families even further.” It is also believed the children “will be involved in their wedding”.
Affleck shares three children, daughters Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and son Max, 10 with former wife Jennifer Garner. Lopez has 14-year-old twin daughters Emme and Maximilian, with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Bennifer 2.0 are currently on the hunt for a new home to blend their families and according to the source, are “still looking for a home and want one in a very exclusive, private neighbourhood that has a ton of land with high-level security.”
“They’re excited to find a home and spend even more time together there than they already do,” the source added.
The couple announced their engagement on April 9 via the singer’s namesake website OnTheJLo.com where she shared a first look at her estimated $5-$10 million USD 8.5-carat green diamond ring. “It’s very cute to see how excited she is. Ben makes her incredibly happy,” a source told People at the time.
Affleck and Lopez were first engaged in 2003 but soon split. They reunited in early 2021 just months after Lopez split from Alex Rodriguez.
