Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are no strangers to extravagant gestures but the reality star’s latest homage begs the question: would you emblazon your own partner’s initials on your very expensive manicure? No? Neither. But that’s exactly what Kardashian opted for in her latest set of nails.
On Instagram stories the 42-year-old shared a number of snaps from her latest manicure which featured a red round-tip nail and the letters “T” and “B”on her ring fingers.
The intricate detail was the handiwork of Lisa Kon who is well-known for crafting the nails of celebrities such as Zendaya, Rita Ora and Miranda Kerr. It turns out the vibrant manicure was done for Valentine’s Day last week – just one of many displays of affection for V-Day from this famous couple.
In an early Valentine’s Day surprise, the Blink-182 artist filled the foyer of Kardashian’s home with two giant black Minnie and Mickie Mouse statues surrounded by hundreds of red roses. It is not dissimilar to an arrangement that Barker organised for Kardashian’s 42nd birthday which featured her favourite flowers, tulips and gardenias.
The loved-up couple got engaged in October 2021 and are reportedly looking to be married very soon. A source told E! News last month that they “want the wedding to happen this year.”
“Travis and Kourtney are so in love and have a lot of respect for each other,” the insider added. “They are very excited to be married and move on the next chapter together.”
We will likely see it all unfold in the upcoming Hulu reality drama “The Kardashians” which will hit streaming platforms in April. The trailer was released overnight and featured a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Kardashian and Barker’s post-engagement dinner.
