Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have made it permanent. The married couple got new tattoos dedicated to one another in honor of Valentine’s Day.
On Tuesday, Lopez showed off their new ink on Instagram in a carousel filled with loving photos of herself and Affleck. The Shotgun Wedding actress revealed a fresh tattoo on her ribcage, featuring an infinity symbol with “Jennifer” and “Ben” inscribed, with an arrow shooting through the middle.
Lopez also revealed her husband’s tattoo in the slideshow, featuring two arrows crossed into an X with the letters “J” and “B” written within.
The slideshow featured photos of the two embracing, on their honeymoon, on a yacht and from their wedding festivities. The Grammy-nominated artist even threw in some throwback pics from the 2003 Academy Awards.
She captioned the post, “Commitment ♾️ Happy Valentine’s Day my love 🤍.” She then directed her fans to her On the J Lo newsletter for more details coming soon. Lopez finished with the hashtags, “#CommitmentIsSexy #ThisIsUsThen #ThisIsUsNow #THISISMENOW.”
The pair tied the knot on August 20, 2022 at Affleck’s estate in Georgia, where Lopez donned three different custom Ralph Lauren bridal gowns throughout the lavish ceremony.
After getting engaged in April, Lopez and Affleck married in a quiet Las Vegas ceremony in July at A Little White Wedding Chapel, where the bride adorned a beautiful cocktail dress from her closet before changing into an off-the-shoulder Zuhair Murad bridal gown from the Spring/Summer 2023 collection.
The two first began a relationship in 2002 after co-starring in the film Gigli and got engaged in November 2002, before calling it quits in 2004. Affleck later married actress Jennifer Garner, with whom he shares three children, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 10. Lopez married musician Marc Anthony, with whom she shares twins Max and Emme, 14.
