Every outing for Hailey and Justin Bieber is treated like fashion week, including Church service. But what makes this fashion spotting even more interesting is that it follows trends that we’ve been watching. Hailey and Justin coordinated their outfits like the grayscale monotone look from Bennifer, and Hailey sported a pantsuit reminiscent of Beyonce’s royal purple suit and JLo’s beige ensemble.

Often seen attending church services together, Hailey and Justin were seen wearing matching suits in Beverly Hills. Hailey wore an intentionally oversized gray suit jacket with structured shoulder-pads that gave the top half of her look a silhouette reminiscent of ’80s power suits. Underneath the jacket she wore a cropped heather gray top.  The model opted for a pair of pants that matched the jacket, and she finished off the look with a pair of red, orange and white sneakers, giving the business-casual look a sporty flair.

Justin chose an all black look for this outing, wearing a black long-sleeve button up to expose a black T-shirt. The tops were paired with black loose-fitting pants and the same pair of baby blue Converse that we saw in the couple’s matching pastel outfits. Also in line with his past style, Justin was seen wearing the same silver chain necklace with variously colored plastic charms.

So what does the pantsuit trend mean for streetwear as well as formal wear? It could be the ever-changing shift in gender-specific fashion, as more people realize that fashion has no specified gender and we’re more likely to see women play around with more traditionally “masculine” silhouettes. Same goes for male celebs, as people like Harry Styles and Billy Porter play around with traditionally “feminine” ensembles.
