In a beige pantsuit by Brunello Cucinelli and beige knit strapless bandeau by Cult Gaia, JLo posed on Instagram in front of a mirror exposing her toned midriff. The 52-year-old posted the outfit in a set of four pictures to her Instagram story, and looked stunning in every single one with golden highlights, curtain bangs and hoop earrings by Vrai to frame her face.

We spy a trend alert! In another picture in a different outfit, Lopez was rocking a beige knit skirt with the famous pelvic cutout trend that has been sweeping wardrobes as of late. We’ve seen this trend on celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Rihanna and Bella Hadid and it seems like it isn’t going anywhere for now. The skirt was paired with an equally neutral-toned knit sweater with tapered sleeves.

While beige isn’t always the most exciting color, it speaks for itself in simplicity. While JLo does love her glitz, (I’ll ask again, where is the pink engagement ring?) when she brings understated styling to a shoot, it really brings attention to her need to not overdo it in terms of fashion statements.

The aforementioned curtain bangs and golden highlights were done by hair artist Chris Appleton, which is a departure from her looks we’ve seen recently with beachy waves and messy buns. The makeup can be attributed to the Lopez’s own cosmetics brand, JLo Beauty with a sprinkling of Scott Barnes Cosmetics. A soft makeup look, the focus was all on skin with a light application of peach blush and lip gloss — understated yet affective.

Lopez was reportedly on set with Netflix for an upcoming project, where she tagged the streaming company as well as Con Todo, Netflix’s Latin American content branch. Details of the project are yet to be released.
