Could Harry Styles be our next beauty mogul? It certainly seems that way, as evidence mounts that the Watermelon Sugar singer is set to release his own line of nail polish. Speculation that Styles was creating his own beauty brand was rife after the star registered as director for a new cosmetics company called Pleased As Holdings Limited back in May.

Not only that – Styles’ long-time assistant was also listed as a director, fuelling rumors that the singer will release genderless makeup and fragrance products. But the category most anticipated would arguably be nail polish, as Styles has proven to be quite the fan of decorated digits.

Over the years he has rocked everything from alternating burgundy and aqua polish (at the 2019 Met Gala) to sparkling silver (to match his BRIT Award earlier this year).

Fans have become even further convinced Styles’ nail line is imminent after his My Policeman co-star Emma Corrin was shot for a new feature in W Magazine. In the nail credits for the shoot, Corrin’s black, white and gloss manicure is listed as being provided by “Simone Cummings for Pleasing at CLM” – which is of course, a company with the same name as Styles’.

The man himself has also been spotted rocking what appears to be merch for the brand, including stickers and sweatshirts emblazoned with the word ‘Pleasing’.

Coincidence? Maybe, but maybe not – given Styles’ propensity for colorful nails and deconstructing male beauty tropes, it wouldn’t be surprising. The company trademark also listed fragrance, so if the brand does belong to the Golden singer, we’re likely to see a signature Styles scent in the future.

We’re ready.
