Pretty in pink, Hailey Bieber is the latest celeb to adopt the Barbiecore aesthetic that’s been trending the celebrity stratosphere. First there was Rosalía, Penélope Cruz, and Kim Kardashian channeling a Balenciaga Barbie, then Megan Fox and Khloé Kardashian both embraced the trend this week. Next up is Bieber who gave the hue her own spin.
Posing for some snapshot posted to Instagram yesterday, the Rhode founder sported a bubblegum pink Versace corseted minidress from the Italian fashion house’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection. Captioning her post, “having a little extra fun today 💕💗💖💞🎀🎀,” the model donned an abundance of layered Tiffany & Co. diamond tennis necklaces and a gold chain around her neck.
Bieber paired it with Naked Wolfe’s white Jane platform booties (styled by Karla Welch) and styled her brunette locks in loose waves,. Welch shared a pic on her Instagram feed writing, “Paging the Barbie movie 💗🎥💗.”
We blame Barbie fever in part, to the new photos released from the set of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie. Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling photographed in costume while filming have made their way into the zeitgeist, bringing new life to the iconic Mattel doll.
On Monday, Megan Fox attended the premiere of her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly’s new Hulu documentary, Machine Gun Kelly’s Life in Pink, appropriately dressed in a rose pink Nensi Dojaka mini dress featuring a strappy bodice with pink sandals. Committed to her monochromatic pink moment, Fox also opted for rose-tinted blonde tresses courtesy of hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos.
Stepping out again, Fox donned a fuchsia metallic two-piece set from The Andamane, consisting of a second-skin jersey crop top and a matching ruched skirt. Pairing her look with strappy pink heels, Fox carried a matching minibag by L’Alingi. Fox’s stylist, Maeve Reilly posted photos of the look, writing, “The Barbie tour continues.”

Celebrating her 38th birthday this week, Khloé Kardashian slipped into a popping pink, curve-hugging latex minidress, embracing the Barbie pink trend. Last week, The Kardashians star appeared on a new episode of Sean Evans’ Hot Ones in an equally Barbie-inspired ensemble. Sporting a neon orchid SKIMS bodysuit, Kardashian teamed her look with a pair of statement-making metallic Good Icon jeans from her line Good American.
After Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli released the house’s Pink PP collection in March, celebrities from Zendaya, to Lewis Hamilton, Simone Ashley and more have been drenched in the hot pink hue. With the Barbie movie set to be released in 2023, we have a feeling there’s a lot more bubbly, Barbie looks to come.
