It’s well known that the Kardahian-Jenner family boast an impressive vintage wardrobe. Take for example Kim Kardashian’s John Galliano-era Dior mini dress. Or, Kylie Jenner’s Tom Ford-era Gucci dad jeans. Love or hate the reality stars, it’s undeniable they have an incredible knack at sourcing out cult Y2K styles.
Kendall Jenner is the next sister to walk in her family’s sartorial footsteps with a Dolce & Gabbana dress that was once worn by supermodel Gisele Bündchen. The model stepped out in Los Angeles overnight in support of a Kylie Cosmetics event. She chose a sci-fi themed printed midi dress from the designer’s Spring 2001 collection and a glittering blue bag and slingback heels from Alexander Wang.
In keeping with the early noughts look, her ensemble was finished with electric blue eyeshadow and a slick bun. The 26-year-old was joined by her older sister Khloé Kardashian and mum Kris Jenner who wore head-to-toe hot pink – totally on brand for the event – while Kim and Kourtney Kardashian opted for full black ensembles.
Despite ongoing controversy that surrounds Dolce & Gabbana – including but not limited to racism, homophobia and offensive comments about IVF and adoption – the Kardashians have been loyal supporters. In fact, Kourtney and Travis Barker’s entire Italian wedding was completely sponsored by the namesake fashion house.
Jenner’s appearance in L.A. comes after the 818 founder returned from Wyoming and Hawaii for what we only assumed was a single girls trip after her mysterious split from NBA player, Devin Booker. Earlier this month Jenner seemingly confirmed a romantic reunion with her on-again off-again beau in a PDA-fueled Instagram story after rumors they had started seeing each other again.
